This Yooperlite Lake Superior Sodalite polished specimen weighs 121g. Yooperlite is the trade name for rare Syenite pebbles containing fluorescent sodalite, found in Lake Superior. They are found in glacial deposits, moved to Michigan from Canada. Most Sodalite will fluoresce orange under UV light. Yooperlite fluoresces particularly brightly.
