Shipping and delivery
Rocks and Things wants you to receive your purchase as soon as possible. All online purchases made from Rocks and Things are completed using the Shopify checkout. When you are making a purchase, the Shopify checkout asks you to select how you want to get your purchase. All charges shown are in Australian dollars. The Shopify checkout will give you relevant information when you are making your purchase.
Rocks and Things accepts online orders from within Australia and International orders from many other countries.
Handling time
It will normally take up to two business days to ship an order via Australia Post from the time your order is placed. Orders can be placed at any time of day and will normally be responded to on the same or next business day. Mark who runs Rocks and Things is busy with his stall at markets on weekends. This means orders late in the week may not be able to be shipped until early in the next week.

Shipping - Australia
Rocks and Things uses Australia Post for mail deliveries.
We charge a flat rate of $12 per order for orders under $60. Shipping is free for all orders over $60.
We use Australia Express Post delivery whenever possible, at no extra charge. The Australia Post pick-up is at 4pm, Mon-Fri. Using this option depends on the dimensions, weight and fragility of the items purchased. Larger and fragile items may need to be sent using parcel post with a longer delivery time.
Local Delivery
Mark can personally deliver orders within a 25 km radius of the Rocks and Things showroom located at U1 104 Hodgkinson St. Clifton Hill, Victoria, 3068 in Australia. You will be charged a delivery fee for this service. The charge is shown during the checkout process.
Pick up
You can pick up your order at the Rocks and Things showroom by arrangement with Mark. This personal pick-up service is available for most orders on the next business day following your purchase.

Shipping – USA
Rocks and Things uses Australia Post standard International Express shipping for USA orders. This service has a typical delivery time of 6-9 business days. Some larger or more fragile items may need to be sent using air or sea parcel delivery. The charge depends on the weight of your purchase. If you are ordering multiple items, the charge will depend on the combined weight of your items. The rates are as follows:
0.0 kg to .499 kg - $27.25
0.5 kg to 0.99 kg - $39.75
1.0 kg to 1.99 kg - $64.85
2.00 kg to 5.00 kg - $108.65
5.00 kg to 20.00 kg - $100 via Economy Sea - 2-3 Months delivery
Shipping – Japan and New Zealand
Rocks and Things uses Australia Post standard International post. This service has a typical delivery time of 6-13 business days. Some larger or more fragile items may need to be sent using different air or sea parcel delivery. The charge depends on the weight of your purchase. If you are ordering multiple items, the charge will depend on the combined weight of your items. The rates are as follows:
