These two natural Yooperlite natural stones each weigh just over 8g and 10g. They weigh 19g together. They are 26mm and 30mm long.
These rare Syenite pebbles are known as Yooperlite. They contain a Sodalite that is strongly fluorescent under UV light. Most Sodalite will fluoresce orange in UV light. Yooperlite brightly fluoresces with a distinctive electric orange colour.
They are found in Lake Superior, USA. They were moved to this location in Michigan by ancient glaciers. The source rock was in what is now known as Canada.
