This specimen is a tiny hexagonal Morganite crystal on matrix. The Morganite is still slightly dusted with its matrix, buts its distinctive pink/lilac is still apparent, especially under stronger light. Both the Morganite and its host rock are reactive to UV light. The Morganite changes to yellow.

Morganite is a pink gemstone form of Beryl. This mineral is formed of Beryllium and Aluminium metals and rings of silicates. The yellow-coloured Beryl is known as Heliodor. Blue Beryl is known as Aquamarine. 

Beryl is known as a Seer Stone. Its wonderful properties help develop scrying skills.
