Mangano banded Calcite skull 43*44*48mm 161.5g

This skull was hand carved in Mangano Calcite by Larence Riaz in Pakistan from locally sourced stone. Mangano Calcite has a minimum of 30 per cent manganese carbonate present. Like in this skull, the calcium and manganese carbonates can be banded. The presence of manganese makes Mangano Calcite react to ultraviolet light, giving it a bright hot-pink glow.
