True Auralite is a red capped Amethyst found at only one location in Ontario, Canada. It is a very old mineral that formed about 1.5 billion years ago. Crystals sourced from this deposit are named Auralite-23 because 23 different elements and minerals have been identified within the chemical composition of the rock, including precious metals and hematite.
