This large Atlantisite Stichtite 67*40*33mm specimen weighs 76g. Atlantisite is a combination of Stichtite and Serpentine. This mineral color ranges from a very pale green to dark ivy green with purple spots of Stichtite. Atlantisite is rare and powerful.

Stichtite is an extremely rare magnesium chromium carbonate mineral. It forms as masses and spotted inclusions in other minerals. It is mainly lilac purple in colour, but can also be lavender and pink. It has been found in Australia, Brazil, Canada, India, Russia, South Africa, Sweden, Tasmania and Zimbabwe.

Serpentine means ‘snake stone’. It is the name given to a group of magnesium-based asbestos and silicate minerals found in the larger Serpentinite family of minerals.
