This Aquamarine crystal 16mm is a good frosted colour, without being spectacular. This specimen is more interesting for its well-developed Lepidolite crystals and sprinkling of Black Tourmaline on a Calcite matrix. It originates from Afghanistan, where it was sourced for Rocks and Things by Lawrence Handicrafts. Aquamarine is a blue/green variety of Beryl that forms in hexagonal columns.
