Assurance: Warring States Carnelian Agate is highly prized. The stones are sourced from Liaoning province in China. They are not antique stones from the Warring States period (475 – 221 BC). They are named for the resemblance to a material found in tombs of that period. It has a strong red orangey and yellow colour, with intricate patterns.
