Two cabochons

This selection of two Sodalite cabochons weigh 6.6g to 7.2g together. The individual cabochons weigh between 3.2g to3.9g each and their dimensions range between 11*11mm and 14*23mm.  The cabochons were polished by Lawrence Handicrafts, our partner, in Pakistan. They were fashioned from locally obtained stone.

Sodalite has a calming energy. Its name refers to the sodium content in the mineral. Sodalite is found as vein fillings in igneous rocks that formed deep in the Earth’s crust. Sodalite is opaque with a vitreous or greasy lustre. The best blue shades of Sodalite are found in deposits alongside white Calcite.

Sodalite is a stone of insight and mental enhancement, stimulating thought and communication. It is a stone of truth, bringing this to all communications.
