The two Sodalite cabochons in this selection weigh 2.1-2.4g each and 4.5g together. They range in size from 7*15mm to 8*16mm. The cabochons were fashioned in Pakistan from locally obtained Sodalite by Lawrence Handicrafts, our partner. Sodalite is a stone of insight and mental enhancement, stimulating thought and communication. It has a calming energy and promotes logic and rationality. Sodalite is found as vein fillings in igneous rocks that formed deep in the Earth’s crust. Sodalite is opaque with a vitreous or greasy lustre. It is named for its sodium content.
