Small Aquamarine crystal on Lepidolote matrix 194.7ct 38.9g

The Aquamarine crystal is mostly hidden in its Lepidolite with Calcite matrix. The whole cluster is 33mm wide and 54mm long. It has good frosted colour, without being spectacular. This specimen is interesting for its well-developed Lepidolite crystal sandwich at its peak. It was sourced for Rocks and Things in Afghanistan by Lawrence Handicrafts. Aquamarine is a blue/green variety of Beryl that forms in hexagonal columns.
