This Aquamarine with three Micas specimen is a metamorphic rock that has resulted from orogenic plate tectonics (mountain building) and a nearby igneous intrusion. The original limestone sedimentary rock had Magnesium rich layers or sections. In this sample, the variable heat, pressure and supply of elements resulted in the formation of Aquamarine and (at least) three different micas in a marble/dolomite matrix. The three Micas that are readily recognisable are Lepidolite, Muscovite and Phlogopite.
