This specimen was sourced in Afghanistan for Rocks and Things by our partner in Karachi, Lawrence Handicrafts. The matrix is a Marble/Dolomite formation that hosts these Ruby and Muscovite crystals. Ruby is the crystal for strength. Ruby is revered in many cultures throughout history. Ruby has been a talisman of passion, protection and prosperity. It symbolises the Sun and its glowing hue suggest an inextinguishable flame within the stone.
