This is a striking Rainbow Black Tourmaline crystal. Black Tourmaline is an opaque, solid black crystal. However, in bright sunshine this specimen shows how this crystal can feature a multitude of rainbows along its striations. This crystal is on a Feldspar, Lepidolite and other Mica matrix.
This great specimen was sourced by Lawrence Riaz He travelled to the Gemfields of Afghanistan for Rocks and Things in 2023.
