Botryoidal Purple Grape Agate is a rare chalcedony found in only one locality in Indonesia. It is chalcedony, not Agate, because it lacks banding. Botryoidal is the term for the pillow or bubble-like formation of this stone. The colour of the small botryoidal orbs ranges from mid to deep purple, sometimes with a blue, grey or green tinge. Grape Agate connects with and opens the Third Eye and Crown Chakras, providing expanded awareness. This aids connection to the higher dimensions, bringing higher knowledge and wisdom.
