This small Mookaite stone features a mixture of red and orange soft tones. Mookaite formed under the Mooka Creek, which flows through a deposit of fossilized microplankton from the Cretaceous Period, which ended 66 million-years ago. The water percolating down through this ancient seabed of tiny fossils created a stunning rock with bright reds, yellows, purples and other deep colours of nature. Every stone is different with a variable composition of Chert and Chalcedony.
