This Moldavite (genuine with Certificate) 24*15*11mm weighs 13ct 2.6g. Moldavite is a unique crystal of both extra-terrestrial and terrestrial material. It is found only in the Czech Republic, about 500 km from the meteorite’s impact in the Ries crater in southern Germany, 14.7 million years ago. Our supplier, Nicholaas Gadd, sourced this specimen directly from the Moldavite Museum in Cesky Krumlov. It was found in Besednice North in Southern Bohemia. It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity issued by the Museum.

Moldavite has a medium to deep green hue with natural etchings and is translucent when held up to a light source. Working with all the chakras, Moldavite is most strongly associated with the Heart, Third Eye, and Crown Chakras. Moldavite reminds us how our Earth is part of a much larger cosmos.
