This graceful hand-carving of a Swan was fashioned from local Mangano Calcite by Lawrence Handicrafts in Pakistan. It is a large and elegant piece. Mangano Calcite is a calcium carbonate mineral with a minimum of 30 per cent manganese carbonate present. The calcium and manganese carbonates can be banded.
