Mangano Calcite glows under UV light due to the presence of Manganese Carbonate, mixed in with the Calcium Carbonate of Calcite. This heart selection was shaped by Lawrence Handicrafts in Karachi, Pakistan, from local stone.
Mangano Calcite is a calcium carbonate mineral with a minimum of 30 per cent manganese carbonate present. The calcium and manganese carbonates can be banded.
