This Mangano Calcite hand-carved apple selection weighs 41-49g. The apple is approximately 59*67*10mm. The range of apple shapes was hand-carved by Lawrence Handicrafts in Mangano Calcite. This stone is a calcium carbonate mineral with a minimum of 30 per cent manganese carbonate present. The calcium and manganese carbonates can be banded. The presence of manganese makes Mangano Calcite react to ultraviolet light, giving it a bright hot-pink glow.
