This great specimen is a dark Green Tourmaline Elbaite crystal on matrix 40*10mm weighing 45.5ct, which is 9.1g. It was sourced by Lawrence Riaz when he travelled again to the gem fields of Afghanistan for Rocks and Things in 2024. This specimen is pleochroic, as it can appear to have a blue tinge from some angles. The growth of this crystal was disturbed near its tip, with the growth resuming at a different angle.
