The Fenster Quartz crystals of this selection weigh 7 or 10g. They are 25mm long.
The Fenster crystal is truly wondrous. They grew fast, leading to chaotic elestial formations. This means they have complex interior structures. A Fenster quartz has many chambers, phantoms and windows within the crystal. This gives the crystal its name. From German, ‘Fenster’ means window.
These windows are triangular planar formations within the crystal structure. The complex skeletal structure happens because the crystal has formed in unstable conditions, causing stop-start and irregular growth. The myriad interior planes and windows give rise to dancing patterns of light when the crystal is turned in light. Fensters can also feature elestial formations and enhydros. The complex formation gives Fenster Quartz additional healing properties to the extensive properties of regular Quartz.
