Electric Purple rainbow

This Electric Purple Agate electroplated geode 42mm weighs 18.5g. These sparkling natural geodes have been electroplated with a thin metal coating to give them a flashy pink rainbow look.

Geodes grow within a host formation from solution. When opened there is a hollow surrounded by crystals pointing inward. Agate and other members of the quartz family commonly form geodes.
