They have been hand carved from the locally sourced White Jade found in Pakistan by Lawrence Handicrafts.

Jade is a traditional good luck stone, bringing wealth and abundance. Jade is used to refer to two different minerals, Nephrite and Jadeite. Some green stones, such as Aventurine, are also sometimes referred to as jade.

Nephrite is a calcium magnesium silicate. It rings like a bell when struck hard. It is commonly pale to dark green with yellowish hues. These hues can also be white, grey, brown, and black.

Jadeite is a sodium aluminium silicate. While it has more vivid colorations, it appears duller and waxy compared to the shiny gleam of Nephrite. While most commonly green, it also occurs in white, orange, yellow, grey, black, and lavender forms. Mutton Fat Jade is a diaphanous to very light-yellow form.
