Balance, creativity: Bumblebee Jasper is a complex combination of volcanic matter, anhydrite, hematite, sulphur, arsenic and other impurities. It is a carbonate, not a true Jasper. The intricate patterns are similar to the colouring found on bumblebees, giving the stone its name. The yellow colouring is due to the presence of sulphur, which is toxic.
