This is a rare terminated Aegerine crystal from Pakistan. It was obtained locally for Rocks and Things. Aegirine crystals have a vitreous lustre. They are generally opaque with translucent segments. The crystal habit includes long prismatic crystals terminated by a steep asymmetrical pyramid. The thinner sections and edges of the crystal show a translucent green.
