This Smoky Quartz double-terminated specimen is from Skardu, Pakistan. It is a twinned crystal that cradles a Black Tourmaline crystal. The Tourmaline and the Smoky Quartz both flash with rainbows in sunlight. It was sourced locally by our Karachi-based partner, Lawrence Handicrafts. Black Tourmaline is the mineral Shorl. Both Smoky Quartz and Black Tourmaline are highly protective stones. This combination, magnified by the crystal formation, provides extra reassurance.
